Project Overview

A full interior transformation built around wood, detail, and material consistency.

The Whidbey Island Full Remodel is a large-scale custom interior project focused on creating a cohesive wood-forward home. The scope includes hardwood flooring, custom kitchen cabinetry, countertops, wall paneling, ceiling woodwork, stair details, built-ins, and custom storage throughout the space.

Instead of treating each element separately, the project was planned as one complete interior system. Wood tones, grain direction, cabinetry surfaces, flooring, and architectural details were selected and installed to work together across the entire home.

Scope of Work

What we built for this project

01

Custom Kitchen Cabinetry

Wood cabinetry, cabinet surfaces, kitchen island with wood countertop, and integrated storage built to match the overall interior direction.

02

Hardwood Flooring

Flooring selected and installed throughout the home to create a consistent, warm base for the entire wood-forward interior system.

03

Wall & Ceiling Paneling

Custom wood panels installed across hallways and key rooms — ceiling and wall details that visually connect each space in the home.

04

Stair, Built-ins & Millwork

Wood stair treads with cable railing, custom bedroom built-ins, and fine millwork details designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding finishes.

Challenge

Keeping every wood surface visually connected.

The biggest challenge on a project of this scale is consistency. When flooring, cabinetry, wall panels, ceiling panels, and stair details are all visible in the same home, small mismatches in tone or finish can make the interior feel disconnected and unintentional.

Solution

A unified approach from material to installation.

We planned the project around wood selection, tone balance, and how each surface would interact with natural light. Every element was considered as part of the larger design, allowing the finished interior to feel intentional, warm, and cohesive from room to room.

Result

A high-end wood interior with consistency from room to room.

The result is a full interior remodel where the kitchen, stairs, hallways, bedrooms, cabinetry, floors, and architectural wood details all work together. The home feels custom, complete, and built around one clear design direction.
